These sterile chemo mats are gamma sterilized, lint-free, and safe to use in a Class 100 ISO5 environment. They are individually packaged. They are made for containing spills and support compliance with USP 797 and USP 800. Another feature that separates these chemo mats from other sterile mats are the cleanliness rating. These are both clean-processed and sterile, not just sterile. The chemo prep mats are constructed from a 3-layer, latex-free polyethylene fiber blend ; top layer of polyolefin-apertured film ; middle layer of absorbent air-laid paper ; bottom layer of impermeable polyethylene.
