Ebola PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) are the recommended outer apparel shield products recommended by the CDC to give adequate protection to people who may come in contact with Ebola. Exposure to Ebola viruses can occur in healthcare settings where hospital staff are not wearing appropriate protective equipment, such as face masks, gowns, and gloves. With the introduction of Ebola onto US soil, outbreaks of this or other viruses prompt healthcare facilities to consider preparation for such situations. DuPont has released an official document discussing Ebola specifically as well as which of their garments they officially recommend for people to wear who may come into contact with the Ebola virus. If Ebola is introduced into the human population, the virus would spread through direct contact with an infected individuals bodily fluids or via objects that have been contaminated with the virus prior.
