Cleanroom Wipes: Lint-Free and Ready For Critical Cleaning Tasks

Cleanroom wipes are lint-free wipes used for cleaning surfaces in your clean room environment. Not all wipes labeled “lint-free” truly meet cleanroom standards. Our cleanroom wipes are crafted from polyester, polypropylene, microfiber, and clean-processed nonwoven materials specially made for use in clean room environments. Depending on your cleanroom cleanliness classification, certain materials are more suited for cleaning.

Cleanroom wipes should not shed any particles or leave behind any residues when wiping. They are clean-processed to remove all loose particles prior to being packaged. Cleanroom wipes are manufactured and packaged inside of a cleanroom to ensure that even the packaging does not have any contamination or particles that can be introduced into your environment.

• Polyester wipes are suited for the most critical cleaning applications. Polyester cleanroom wipes are laundered to remove any loose particles before being packaged. They are and suitable for use in ISO4-5 Class 10-100 environments.

• Nonwoven wipes are the most common cleanroom wipes and usually made of a polyester & cellulose blend called polycellulose. These wipes are very absorbent and considered non-shedding, as they are not as clean as polyester wipes. However they are more absorbent and better for drying.

• Sponge wipes are made of open-cell clean-processed foam and able to retain and hold 30x their weight in liquid. They are great for applying cleaning solutions to surfaces evenly, or for absorbing large spills.

• Microfiber wipes are great for deep cleaining since their construction retains and holds loose particles as you wipe and will not release them, allowing you to cleanup larger areas per wipe.

• Anti Static wipes are made from polyester along with strands of conductive carbon fiber. These wipes prevent build up of electrostatic charge via the carbon fiber strands that dissipate electrostatic charge.
